Critters 2: The Main Course (1988)

Happy Easter everyone! I apologize for the late post, but the latest episode of the Mind of Smoothie podcast is available NOW!

On this week's episode I take a look at the 1988 creature feature Critters 2: The Main Course. In keeping up with my holiday horror themed episodes, Critters 2 is loosely tied to the Easter holiday if only because it features an Easter egg hunt and a sheriff that dresses up as the Easter Bunny!

This was a first time watch for me, and boy was I not disappointed! I don't know why it took me this long to watch this movie as well as the first one! This week I am hoping to watch the remaining sequels, but something tells me that they may not hit exactly the same way as the first two did. We will have to see about that though!

Memories of Tomb Raider

The latest episode of the Mind of Smoothie podcast is not available. This week I reflect on some memories I have playing the original Tomb Raider game on the Sega Saturn! When I say memories, I mean vivid memories. These memories are so clear, it is almost like it was just yesterday. There are a lot of things that can evoke strong memories for me, but there is really nothing quite like this.

I hope that you enjoy this episode and let me know if there are any things that can evoke such memories for you. I definitely would love to hear them.

Don't Call Me Lubdan!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! May the luck of the Irish be upon you on this day and may the latest episode of the Mind of Smoothie podcast be in your earholes!

Okay that doesn't look right, but I do encourage you to give the latest episode a listen. Four years ago when I started this podcast my intentions were to follow-up the My Bloody Valentine episode with an episode on the 1993 cult classic Leprechaun, but there was a minor hiccup... THE PANDEMIC! Things began to shut down around here on the 13th and by the 18th of March I was working from home. And you all know the rest of that story.

I hope that you all have a good St. Patrick's Day and enjoy your day to be Irish. Drink some green beer, enjoy an Irish car bomb or two, and most importantly enjoy the show!
